Hey all, I’m a student at the University of Pittsburgh coming from Villanova, PA. I’m picking up a Media & Communications major with a minor in Economics, and I’ve known for a couple years that I want to build a career in the music industry. Music is undoubtedly the most meaningful part of my life, and I can’t think of a better thing to spend my time working with. I play the guitar, keyboard, and harmonica — I also love writing and interviewing people. Pittsburgh has excited me from the first day I saw the skyline, and hubs for science/technology like UPMC and Carnegie Mellon make me think Pittsburgh is a city for the future. I’m excited to be a part of a young, growing, and flexible company rather than a big corporate machine like Spotify or Universal, and more than anything I look forward to learning, from the MIC, all the paths available for a young person working in music.
