Hey everyone! My name is Chanelle Johnson and I am from New Orleans, LA. In undergrad, I majored in music with a concentration in business. My time there allowed me to realize that artists have a difficult time creating innovative content in an ever-changing industry, while still effectively monetizing and protecting their work. As someone who has a musical background, I decided I wanted to ensure clients felt like they were being represented from a place of understanding. I’m currently in law school studying to be a music attorney so that I can enforce artists’ intellectual property rights, but I am also interested in indie artist management.
