I first heard about this duo from Standard Broadcast cellist Leland Shaw during the hype over their latest album "Thirst" (available on streaming services everywhere).Their bandcamp describes them like this:
BBGUNS' (formerly LAZYBLACKMAN), comprising of Singer/Rapper Lazy JP and wordsmith Barz Blackman, sound combines elements of Underground Hip-Hop and Indie Rock with the Hip-Hop balancing lyricism, originality, and songcraft. They bring a raw and organic Punk-like energy to the stage designed to shock, awe, and entertain, making it a one of a kind experience.
